SPECIALTY TOURS
City Tours
New Hampshire's cities are rich in culture and heritage, with the classic New England style setting. Learn more about the textile mills in Manchester, the Paper Mills in Berlin, the fishing community of Portsmouth, or the first resort community in the nation, Wolfeboro.
Covered Bridge Tours
Spanning both rivers and time, covered bridges are a popular feature of New Hampshire's landscape and can be found throughout the state. Why not include or form a tour around these historic trestles? New Hampshire's covered bridges are marked on the front of the State Highway map.
Crafts Fair
New Hampshire's strong crafts tradition is evident throughout the State. Visit any one of the seven League of New Hampshire shops, watch the crafts of yesteryear at the Shaker Village in Canterbury, or visit one of the many craft sand gift shops in almost every community.
Farm Tours
Agriculture is an important part of New Hampshire's landscape. Several of our rural farms offer tours. Whether it is an apple orchard, pumpkin patch, or a working dairy farm, New Hampshire is the place to find it.
Maple Sugaring
Many maple sugaring operations encourage people to visit their sugarhouses and witness the process of boiling the sap. Come serve a breakfast of pancakes, waffles or french toast with "fresh from the tap" syrup. Others specialize in "sugar on snow parties" - a Yankee woods tradition of pouring hot syrup on snow accompanied by coffee, donuts and dill pickles to offset the sweetness.
Microbrewery Tours
New Hampshire has several microbreweries located throughout the state that will add to any tour. Some suggestions include the microbrewery at the Tuckerman Brewery Company in Conway, The Woodstock Inn microbrew in North Woodstock, and several located in Portsmouth.
Moose Hunt Tours
On your next tour why not add a moose hunt to your itinerary! New Hampshire's North Country is the place to see these magnificent creatures in the wild. Moose Tours out of Gorham, 800-992-7480 or Moose and Wildlife Tours out of Lincoln, 603-745-0919 would be delighted to guide your group on a moose hunt at dusk.
Soft Adventure Tours
Looking for adventure? New Hampshire has a variety of soft adventure activities to do throughout the summer and winter months. In the summer you may want to consider whitewater rafting, mountain biking, hiking, riding the Cannon Tram to the top of Cannon Mountain, golfing, horseback riding, whale watching or deep sea fishing.
