Description

Blue Ocean Society for Marine Conservation is a 501 (c) (3) non-profit organization based in Portsmouth, New Hampshire. Our mission is to protect marine mammals in the Gulf of Maine through education, research, and conservation. We have a marine life touch tank located at the Isles of Shoals Steamship Co. Dock at 315 Market St., Portsmouth, NH. It is free and open to the public The first week of July to the last week in August from 9:00-12:00. Join us for stories, crafts, and feeding time on Tuesdays! http://blueoceansociety.org/Education/touch_tank.html We also have traveling educational programs, conduct research aboard local whale watches, and have an extensive beach cleanup program.
